Fields of gold – Prince Edward Island
I had hardly heard of Prince Edward Island much less knew where it was before I arrived. When we were in New Brunswick, we asked around to find out what locals’ favorite places to vacation were – the consistently, overwhelming response was: Prince Edward Island.
We had originally planned to head straight for Nova Scotia, but we had no regrets about stopping in this beautiful fairy tale land of Prince Edward Island. There were primary colors everywhere we turned: red soil, the greenest grass you’ve ever seen, the sky and the ocean so blue. And these incredible yellow fields!
I couldn’t help but have Sting’s song go through my head as we drove passed these beautiful fields of gold!
