Do you like to hike? Check out the endless walking trails in Fredericton, New Brunswick
Filed Under: Travel Tips
They say that Washington DC has the best walking trails in the United States. I was surprised to discover that the walking and hiking trails, which stretch for miles along the St. John River in Fredericton, New Brunswick were almost equally beautiful.
The lighthouse is in the center of town with the main town square and historical district right across the street. People canoe, hike, jog, etc. Afterwards, you can hit the restaurants and pubs which line the downtown streets. We found an awesome Greek restaurant with a nice outdoor patio.
Fredericton is a very fit, intellectual university town of about 70,000 people. Its only fault, that I could find, is that its frrreeeeezzzzing cold during the winter! Oh, yes! The snow sticks!
Watch the video to see the beautiful idyllic town of Fredericton!
