Travel writing is an extremely competitive field. It takes more than packing a bag and hopping on a plane to land big travel writing contracts. How do you convince editors that you have something unique to say about a big city like Paris or something important to write about the small beach town of Outer Banks, North Carolina? How do you break in when you have no travel writing experience to your name?

Never fear! Next Tuesday, August 5, Viscape will host a virtual meet-up conversation about breaking into travel writing. Two travel editors, including a community manager who hires new travel writers, will be participating in the call. This is your chance to get the inside scoop for free. By the end of the conversation, you’ll be prepared to write some travel stories that editors cannot refuse and maybe even land a travel writing gig. Everyone who participates in the call will have the opportunity to continue the conversation by email.
