Have you heard the news? People are talking! It has never been easier to list your home or plan a vacation, now that Viscape has stepped into the Web 2.0 arena! Check out Viscape’s news bulletins below!

As of today, Viscape is one of the largest vacation home listers in the Delaware Beach area. And it only took less than a month to get there! We are so excited about this milestone and look forward to growing Viscape’s 100 plus destinations in the same manner. Much of this growth can be attributed to the hard work of Daniel Monson, Heather Morris, Victor Blankenbaker and Caroline Allison. They have spent their days, nights and weekends on customer service, local outreach and listing support. The upside to all this hard work? They got to spend their summer days traveling around the beautiful beach towns in Delaware.

In other news, Caroline Allison, Viscape’s president, is a longtime member of Entrepreneurs’ Organization. EO has over 6,600 members in over 38 countries and is only open to companies that exceed $1 million in yearly revenue. Last week, Caroline headed to Boston, Massachusetts for the annual EO conference. The conference hosted 15-hour itineraries stacked with motivational speakers, off-site tours and Caroline’s favorite part – the after-hours meet-ups, parties and lobster feasts! Somewhere in between the intense business sessions and mingling, Caroline found time to be interviewed about starting Viscape by Boston Globe Correspondent, Eric Schwartzel. She was quoted in the August 2, Boston Globe Business Section article titled, “Sagging economy can’t quell optimism of entrepreneurs”:

“What’s really great about this recession is that it’s forcing people to focus on who they are,” said Caroline Allison, founder of the six-week-old Viscape, a website she describes as “Facebook plus eBay for vacation homes,” based in Washington, D.C.
